With a Yes
The Beginning
A divine instruction burning in the
heart
Sometimes God plants an idea in your heart so clearly, so persistently, that you cannot shake it. That is exactly what happened with Pastors Mykiel and Ruth Toba. In 2020, they said yes to a divine instruction and God’s Threshing Place was born.
From the very beginning, the vision was clear: to build a ministry community where the presence of God is not just something you talk about, but something you actually experience. Where the Word of God is taught without apology. Where the Holy Spirit is free to do what only He can do.
And where every single person who walks through the doors or tunes in from wherever they are knows that they are seen, valued, and loved.
Why "God's Threshing Place"?
In biblical times, the threshing floor was where the harvest was brought. Where the wheat was separated from the chaff. Where what was truly valuable was revealed. And ultimately the place of abundance, overflow, and celebration.

Why "God's Threshing Place"?
The name carries something beautiful.
“The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.”

In biblical times, the threshing floor was where the harvest was brought at the end of a long season of labour. It was where the wheat was separated from the chaff where what was truly valuable was revealed. And ultimately, it was the place of abundance, of overflow, of celebration.
That is exactly what we believe God wants this ministry to be for you. A place where the old things fall away and the real you the purposed, valued, called you is revealed. A place of harvest.
The Foundation
Rooted in Isaiah 61
Everything we do at God’s Threshing Place is rooted in Isaiah 61, a passage that Jesus himself quoted in Luke 4 when He stood up in the synagogue and declared why He had come.
That mandate healing, deliverance, restoration, good news for everyone is not just something Jesus did 2,000 years ago. It is what this ministry is built to carry forward today. Every broadcast, every publication, every prayer meeting, every act of pastoral care is an extension of that same heart of Jesus.
